Denne provide work experience placements both within our head office and also on selected sites. The length and nature of the placements depend on the age of the individual and their curriculum requirements.

The new Work Ready Award is seen as key element of the work experience process. It demonstrates that the individual is ready for work through assessing their performance against the following 6 areas:

• Attendance
• Punctuality
• Self-discipline
• Academic achievement
• Health & Safety
• Personal skills

We work closely with our trade contractors to ensure that site-based work experience delivers the potential benefits for all parties. This includes agreements covering risk assessments, health & safety measures, payments, provision of PPE and tools, supervision and monitoring.
