This project involved the construction of 26 flats for sheltered housing.  The scheme features numerous communal facilities including hairdressers, commercial kitchen, consultation rooms and a large dinning / activity room.

The scheme, which is 1 of 14 that we have successfully completed for Housing 21 incorporated various innovations developed through our partnering relationship with Housing 21.

These include under floor heating, triple glazed argon filled windows and the use of preformed flush shower trays, which enables easier access to the shower for wheelchair users.

The scheme also featured the use of environmentally friendly materials.  Recycled glass sharp sand was used as the bedding material for the block paving.
