This successful scheme provided 39 extra care apartments together with a communal lounge and support facilities. The project also features the use of cedar cladding, cedar hung tiles and a sedum green roof.

Prior to the works commencing on site, extensive clearance work was essential to unlock the potential of the site. A new access road was also required, which involved extensive liaison with the local highways authority.

During the site clearance works, the team had to sensitively deal with the local badger population and protect a giant redwood tree which occupied the middle of the site.
