Design & Build
This beautiful scheme, funded by the Housing Corporation involved the delivery of 15 houses, 1 block of 9 flats and extensive landscaping. Out of the homes available, 8 of the flats are available for shared ownership whilst the rest of the homes are available for rent.
Constructed using a timber frame system, the flats and homes have been attractively finished with external cladding of facing brick work and rendered block work. Also due to the sloping nature of the site, retaining walls were used to level the site and a pumped drainage system was incorporated for both foul water and surface water.
The development achieved an EcoHomes ‘Excellent' rating, partly gained through 10 of the houses having roof mounted solar panels for heating water. The overall development achieved 10% onsite renewable energy generation. |
