Since 1998, Denne has been at the forefront of the movement to collaborative working. Our approach has always been working collaboratively with both our clients and supply chain.  This has resulted in Denne being selected by a number of clients as a strategic partner.

Denne ensures that we always stay at the forefront of best practice, and we continuously develop best practice ideas within the company, which is then shared and supported within the business.

We have had a number of Best Practice Guides written about our approach to client partnering and supply chain management, which includes the experience on how we developed our supply chain and how we assisted locally based contractors.

We have been involved and continue to be active in undertaking research funded by both the DTI and ConstructionSkills. These cover the areas of:

• Mentoring in an integrated supply chain (DTI 2003)
• Logistics and supply chain management (ConstructionSkills 2004)
• Collaborative project management (DTI 2003)

We are also working with Kent Business School and Cardiff Business School on a supply chain project.  This project has involved researching supply chain issues with regard to a number of Denne material suppliers.  This research has lead to a number of published academic papers.  Please refer to our supply chain page for more information on our supply chain strategy.
